Faridabad Navchetna Trust launched Adopt a Tree Campaign to make Faridabad City green and pollution free. The Target is to plant 2 Lakh trees on 25th July, 2015. FARIDABAD is about to make a record for planting more than 2 lakh trees within 3 hours starting 8 AM to 11 AM on 25th July, 2015.
An NGO named Navchetna Trust is working on this aspect for last few months. They are getting huge support from all over FARIDABAD i.e. many school, colleges, institutes and organizations are supporting them for this great work. Chairman of the trust is MLA from Faridabad - Vipul Goel having aim of making the whole city clean and green.
“Ek Din-Go Green” and “Adopt a Tree” slogans are on lips of each Faridabad Citizen. They all want to be a part of this turnover in the city. That’s why; Faridabad Navchetna Trust’s website is getting huge registrations from all over Faridabad confines for being a volunteer and adopting a tree.
This remarkable trust is also conducting a Green Carnival as a Road show on the roads around HUDA office, Open Air Theatre, Town Park, SRS, High Court and Khel Parishar, Sector 12, Faridabad. The students of schools and colleges are enjoying very much this event “The Largest Plantation Ever”. They are also participating in many activities related to art, culture, nature, earth etc. This Carnival will also be attended by Honorable Chief Minister of Haryana – Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar- also the chief guest of this mega event.
